The format of these workshops where we are the trainer and the coach who unifies the team and brings about the wider ‘buy-in’ for clients, stakeholders and operatives – that you need from the outset of a project.

  …it’s rare that someone thinks of FE initially for a project – however this is a service we provide which truly unlocks the potential of new build, office moves or refurbishment – especially within listed buildings. It’s all about proscriptive compliance in terms of statutory norms such as AD approved documents, then looking at BS9999 and where necessary BS 7974. It may not make any sense to focus on final exit door width or stair discounting when the proscriptive nature of a basic understanding of compliance does not improve life or property safety. Real solutions protect lives and in doing so save clients vast sums of money and time.

FM Support; engaging the clients beyond handover – soft landings…

Project size and format varies dramatically between teams. Taking form of new build business requirements such as test cells for the Cummins engine business, new build RnD laboratories with Headquarters and Warehousing for Dosing Tech or protection of production output at Nitra for GnD in Slovakia. It can also take the form of people and children focussed solutions for maximising the potential of built assets within Velmead Junior school to match the ethos of the team. All varied projects and client base; however the needs are the same – to work with what we have and get us where we need to be in the shortest timeframe in the most economical manner.

We map understanding across disciplines and against known frames of reference depending on the make up of the group. This allows people to interface on known terms and compare new information against what they are familiar with from their business experience. Examples of recent experience has been understanding say TfL’s 16 business processes moving to unification under Pathway, combined with our knowledge of quality + governance matched with necessities of operations across sectors + disciplines enables our support team to map and action such controls into realisable day to day functions for your in-house FM management and your 3rd party suppliers.

BIM process; controls, training and implementation…

…We ensure the team are working to known benchmarks of excellence – we know from project experience that this is the point to focus upon. Ensuring deliverables are clear in terms of what is being done and when; most importantly why – related to the milestones of the project programme and the necessary knowledge sharing and timed exchange of information that is required within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team. We set out training plans in addition to these execution models to enable, managers and the operations team achieve BIM level 2 compliance and beyond into ‘single model’ delivery.
